Can’t say we didn’t see this coming, after the slip-up the other day, but it’s official now: NISA has picked up Danganronpa 2 (Siliconera article, press release) and will be releasing it for the PS Vita this fall. (more…)

Merry Christmas, everyone! We here at Project Zetsubou are celebrating by bringing you all another dose of despair.

Some exciting stuff has happened over the past week or so, and as a result we’ve had a lot of people asking what our plans are for the future. Since things have finally settled down a bit, we figured now would be a good time to start answering those questions.

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! I know it’s been a while since we last made a post, but we’re still hard at work on the game. Not much has happened that’s merited a full-fledged blog post, though, so most of our updates have been on Twitter (follow us, if you’re not already!).

It’s been a couple weeks since the last post, but I assure you we’re still hard at work. Progress has been a little slow because of the holidays, but we should be getting back into full swing soon.
One of the things that has been getting considerable love, though, is the script editor I promised I’d release a few weeks back. It’s not quite complete, but pretty much everything you need to start your own translation project should be there.

Of all of our translation decisions, Mondo Oowada’s title–the Super Duper High School One Percenter–has received the most criticism, and understandably so. It’s an obscure term used to refer to an outlaw motorcycle club, and it’s taken a more common meaning in recent years: referring to the extremely wealthy.
